Approved Installers for leading air conditioning manufacturers

In order to meet European and UK regulations you will need accredited and fully trained air conditioning installers. All the top air conditioning manufacturers who include, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Daikin, LG, Sanyo and Toshiba will only allow their equipment to be installed by engineers and technicians who have passed their managed training courses.

Accredited installer and Business Solutions Partner Air Conditioning Solutions (UK) Ltd are a leading Mitsubishi Business Partner, which is a classification only made available to certain air conditioning installers and reflecting the size of the partner’s business. Mitsubishi measure their partners against the following three key qualification criteria and review their status on a 6 monthly basis:

Corporate Stability

The company has to be financially stable and have a strong trading relationship with  each manufacturer. They will be around in the future to support the lifecycle of the customer’s air-conditioning requirements and ensure their engineers and technicians attend refresher training courses as these become available.

Adherence to Standards

The Partner company has to be capable of meeting each organisations programme and adhere to their standards forming part of an enhanced business proposition to customers.

People and Skills

The Partner Company has to be committed to training and professional development of its employees and sub-contractors.  This must include not just air conditioning equipment but also the wider industry standards such as refrigerant handling.

Managers and business owners are now directly responsible to ensure that the air conditioning systems on their premises are properly maintained and contain the correct version of refrigerant gas. New regulations came into effect on January 1st 2010 resulting in stringent rules concerning the length of time equipment can be used which contains R22 refrigerant gas.

How will it affect you?

R22 has been identified as having ozone-depleting potential so the use of virgin R22 was banned from January 2010. Air-conditioning equipment more than five years old will almost certainly be using R22 gas and could need replacement in the near future.
